Rabbit Scram Application InstructionsRabbit Scram rabbit repellant is an organic biodegradable composition granular product specifically designed to repel rabbits with little or no impact on the environment. Rabbit Scram is not harmful to humans or animals. Organic and biodegradable products like Rabbit Scram will degrade in the presence of ultraviolet light (sunlight). Periods of extended sunlight with little or no rain will result in the need to apply Rabbit Scram more frequently. To protect individual plants, bushes and small garden/flower beds (10 feet x 15 feet) sprinkle liberally in an 18-inch wide strip surrounding the area to be protected. The initial application of Rabbit Scram should be heavy enough to visibly cover the ground. Follow up applications are light. All protective strips should be applied directly at the edge of the bed or drip line of the target plants. Follow this with a light dusting of Rabbit Scram throughout the interior of the protective strip (for example, around the base of your bush or throughout your garden/flower bed). HEAVY RABBIT PRESSURE: For all applications, if you consider yourself to be in a highly aggressive rabbit environment, we suggest you increase the 18-inch perimeter strip to 24 inches wide and increase the application amount. Also, broadcast a heavier dusting throughout the interior of the protective strip. Prior to application, if you discover a rabbit hole within the targeted area, sprinkle Rabbit Scram liberally around the hole and directly into the entrance. PROTECTION OF LARGER AREAS: For large beds or plots, apply Rabbit Scram in a 22-inch-wide strip around the perimeter. Apply 16-inch interior strips, spaced 30 feet. apart, within the protected perimeter. COVERAGE: The 2 ½-pound shaker-container of Rabbit Scram provides about 150 linear feet of coverage when applied as 18-inch protective perimeter/interior strips, providing protection for an area of up to 1,350 square feet. FREQUENCY OF APPLICATION: Rabbit Scram should be used or reapplied every 30 to 45 days depending on weather conditions. While Rabbit Scram does not dissolve or wash off in rain, it should be lightly reapplied immediately following a heavy downpour (1 to 2 inches in an hour) or after periods of heavy or frequent rain. It is important to follow the application instructions. WINTER USE: Rabbit Scram is a great winter rabbit repellent. No mixing is required and the granular formula is easily sprinkled in any conditions. Apply as above in late November or before first heavy snow. It works well under 6” of fresh snow and can be applied on top of existing snow cover. Reapply after 90 days. If snow becomes crusted over an application of Rabbit Scram, break up the crust and reapply on the loose snow. Rabbit Scram rabbit repellant is GUARANTEED to work. *We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover & PayPal.TO ORDER BY PHONE CALL 800-699-0643
